LibriVox recording of Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. Narrated by Elizabeth Klett with a full cast.
Louisa May Alcott's beloved 1868 novel is about the four March girls - Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy - who are growing up in Massachusetts during the Civil War. As the novel opens, their father is away at war, and the girls are struggling to be good and to reconcile themselves to their relative poverty. Each has her trials to deal with, and they are encouraged by their loving mother, and by their friendship with their neighbor, Theodore "Laurie" Laurence.

Best Librivox I've heard.
Easily the best Librovox audiobook I've heard yet. Not a weak link in the bunch. The readers for the narrator and the main characters were all marvellous. The man who reads the part of Laurie especially sounds like a pro. Great book, but you do need some tolerance for moralizing. Wonderful characters and timeless plots and subplots.

A great recording of Little Women! Most of the voices personified each character. There were a few that needed to be clearer but the distraction was minimal compared to the great renditions of the main characters!
Thank you for all who volunteered to create this dramatic reading!
